Nostalgic scents; husking flowers; faded hoodies. Physical or verbally, small gifts I’ve received. Containing meaningful and white innocence, the significance relies on the individual willing to indicate an effort. Honorable handwritten letters; handmade items, Causing rejoice, a contribution to my happiness. These offerings of presumed indestructible emotions, Given me temporary pleasure and comfort. Polaroid films wilt off my cold walls, Leaving a sense of unwanted emptiness. My once reciprocated words of reassurance, Sentences that allowed encouragement, now meaningless. Unable to bring myself to rid of these beautiful memories, Concealing these cherished moments, under my bed. Obligated to move onward, departed from the gifts given purpose to my life. My sentimental petals falling, so I can grow anew.

ART STYLE/MEDIUM DESCRIPTION (HOW DID YOU CREATE IT)?
: This writing is about a relationship that was once thriving, now falling apart. It was hard to accept at first, but near the end I came to the realization that instead of viewing the situation as something negative, (her petals were falling apart), its instead an opportunity to grow, like a fine flower.
