"Art is a universal language. It transcends race, religion, and politics." Welcome to Beyond Strangers, an organization dedicated to promoting art as a means of healing. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to express themselves through various forms of art, like an art hub! We believe that art has the power to heal, and we hope to connect people on sensitive issues regarding mental health, pain, and emotions in our ever polarizing word.
Daniel's STORY
Daniel created Beyond strangers in the summer of 2023 as a way to call out to those in pain. After his father passed away, he has never felt so alone and afraid. It was this feeling of isolation and despair where hope ceased to exist. But art helped Daniel to overcame this struggle, and became the tool needed cope and heal. Through creative expression, art pieces allow a snapshot of a person's life and this present slice of time. Let's look beyond strangers, and towards the emotions that make us all human.

3. Utilize art therapy to help people fight mental health challenges
THE IMPORTANCE

Imagination: A world without art means an absence of imagination, and can lead to people bottle up their emotions, thoughts and feelings that could be communicated.

Mental health Challenges: On a global scale, a lack of creative expression leads to - mental health challenges, as people don’t have a coping mechanism to deal with anxiety and stress.

Animosity: As a society, we don’t treat each other’s differences as gems, but instead points for hatred and conflict. Without art, we become lost in those differences and fail to see the good side of each person.

Art Therapy: According to the Therapy group of NYC, psychologists have linked art with alleviating symptoms of depression, which affects 280 million people around the world!
